Faced with declining health in 1985 and discovering the answer to her problem was not available through conventional medical procedures, Marge turned to other methods. Using her own body as a laboratory, she tried many approaches and found herbs gave her and her family the best results. This is the basis for her work at Herbal Educational Research Foundation.

Her goal is to help people recover the health that is rightfully theirs. She's learned that with research and education, she can teach people how to help themselves get well and stay well the way nature intended.

She became a Master Herbalist studying the works of pioneer herbalist, Dr. John R. Christopher, M.H., N.D. Then, did advanced studies with one of Dr. Christopher's top students, the now World Famous Naturopath, Dr. Richard M. Schulze, M.H., N.D. 

In April of 1998, she was one of only 18 students invited to study with Dr. Bernard Jensen, personally in his special inaugural class at his ranch in Escondido CA. 

In a recent interview she said, "continuing to study is a must to be effective in natural healing. That's why I've taken the time to become a Certified Natural Health Professional and also hold a certificate in the use of Bach Flower Remedies as well as in Young Living Essential Oils. 

"It’s important to know all the avenues of Natural Healing because at times, you'll run into things that need special handling. Still, we must always remember that natural healing is simple and any approach that makes it complicated is simply not ok. 

"The body heals itself! It does that best when you help it by eating well, eliminating properly, and getting enough rest and exercise. 

"It's a lot of fun working with the people here at J. D. Rite. They've helped me make Herbs That Work! everything I want them to be - strong, effective herbal remedies."

Currently, Marge to working on her Ph.D. in nutrition.

Marge is not a medical doctor. By LAW, she cannot diagnose, treat,  prescribe or cure. She insists that everyone ask their own medical doctor before taking any herbal products.
